[Announce] [Discuss] DEC Memos Regarding the Landfill

Hi all

I attended the Dec. 11, 2007 meeting of the General Services Committee of the Albany Common Council.  At the meeting, Mr. Bruce said the city had received somce comments from DEC seeking additional information.

It seems DEC is doing its job on behalf of NYS citizens and reviewing the submitted documents in detail.  Yes, I found the memos interesting indeed!

These are quite interesting memos, detailing the issues DEC has found
so far with the landfill.

Because the memos are a couple of megabytes  in size, I am providing

Please note the dates on these memos, two of them are PRIOR to the
Common Council Committee meeting on December 11.  However, these
memos were not even mentioned at the meeting.

I am hoping that tomorrow there will be an article in the Times Union
regarding these memos.
