Dear All,

Our next Save the Pine Bush Landfill Committee meeting will be
Wednesday, November 14 at 4:30 PM
First Presbyterian Church, corner of State and Wilett Streets, Albany

Then at 6:00, we will have our Save the Pine Bush veggie/vegan  
lasagna dinner.  Our special guest speaker will be Karina Franke,  
Karner Kids Kampaign Manager.  She has started a project to have the  
Karner Blue named the state butterfly.  She is only 9 years old, but,  
she is an excellent speaker and knows her topic well.  Please come, I  
think this will be a great program!  I am grateful to the two  
Landfill Committee members who suggested I invite Karina to speak -  
Carol Waterman and Sally Cummings.

Now, to complicate matters:
On Wednesday, November 14 at 6:00 PM at the Polish Community Center,  
the City of Albany is having another "Landfill Update".  I am hoping  
some people from this list will go (Lynne Lyons said she would  
attend).  We must keep an eye on the City!  If you do go to this  
meeting, you can always come late to see our speaker at our dinner.

And to further complicate matters:
On Wednesday, November 14 at 7:30 PM at the Guilderland Town Hall,  
the Guilderland Planning Board will consider Woodsfield Estates, a  
housing development proposed for the Pine Bush.  Please feel free to  
attend.

I hope to see many people tomorrow evening at our meeting and  
dinner.  However, please choose whatever meeting you would like to  
attend.
